Venezia -- secondo

*piazza San Marco

tuesday, march 14

our day started early in the morning and it also started out cold. we met up with an old lady tour guide right at piazza san marco. this lady was really cool, she was about 70 years old and had lived in venice for a long time. she really new she stuff. after our walk ended at about noonish, a group of us went on a church rampage. we all bought tickets that would let us into a bunch of churches owned by the city. this is the list: Santa Maria dei Miracoli, Santa Maria Formosa, San Giocanni Elemosinario, San Polo, and Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari.

most of our group and the orvieto kids got together and headed north to La Iguana, the one and only mexican restaurant in venice. it was great. the cook was mexican and thats all i have to say. after our delicious mexican fiesta, colleen, kyle, corey and i just walked about the city. it was a really nice end to the day. we walked, we conversed, we photographed.
